How do I change sales process for an active sales project?

If your company has Membrain Performance or Excellence, you may have more than one sales process to choose from when you create a sales project. If you select the wrong process, or realize that you need to change it halway through working with the opportunity, follow the instructions below:

  1. In the opportunity view, click on the name of the sales process the sales project is currently in (located in the header, with a dotted underlined, indiciating you can click on it to edit it).
  2. A new dialogue opens.
  3. Select the sales process you wish to change to in the first drop down list.
  4. In the second drop down, select which stage the sales project should be in.
  5. Click on Set and you will be taken to the new opportunity view (with the correct sales process and stage)
  6. Clean up any data required to ensure everything is up to date.
